Tryon Farm
|
Tryon Farm is a semi-rural community development that emphasizes community and conservation of land and resources. There are several small “communities” (i.e. clusters of housing) in a 170 acre development, separated by lots of space. The houses, in varying degrees of contemporary design, are clustered to promote a sense of community while simultaneously conserving land . . . quite the opposite of the typical suburban or even vacation development model.
